These two audio tapes provide native Chinese  readings of the 16 lessons presented in volume one of the Learn to Read Chinese texts. The readings are quoted from the latest edition of Zhongyi Rumen (Introduction to Chinese medicine) by Qin Bowei, one of modern China's greatest physicians and most articulate spokespersons for Chinese medicine. By covering the basic concepts and relationships of zhongyi in nearly three hours of spoken technical Chinese, these tapes provide support for the process of natural language development implemented in the companion texts.
