The Works of Nigel Wiseman

Nigel Wiseman is a graduate of Harriot-Watt (MA) and Exter (Ph.D.) Universieties. His work constitutes the single largest contribution to the understanding of terms in Chinese medicine, their translation and reception in the West. Linguists who wish to review Nigel's research and conclusions will likely find that his Ph.D. Thesis is most appropriate. Translators interested in Nigel's responses to the various "term debate" topics are probably best served by reading the individual articles such as the Pacific Conference Papers and the On-Line Term Debate articles. Clinicians whose interest in the term issue is its clinical relevance are encouraged to read The Rationale for the Fundamentals' Terminology.
